Medical Support

The idea for this project was born when our staff realized the need many of our handicapped participants have for laboratory examinations, medicine and daily special medical attention. Due to their limited economic resources it is very difficult for meet their medical needs. In the hopes of solving this problem, Camp Hope began organizing agreements with medical centers throughout the city in order to support our participants medically at a low cost.

With the help of volunteers from other countries who specialize in health care projects, the Foundation is able to regularly provide doctors for check-ups and surgery.

Currently, the program supports orthopedic surgeries, cleft lip surgeries, specialized treatment, medical exams, ligatures and vasectomies. We also offer support for neighborhoods and organizations in the city of Quito which have scarce resources.
